In a departure from its SE edition size and price, Apple decided to offer a stripped down to a minimum iPhone for people who have to stay in its ecosystem and are looking to spend as little as they can. This phone is a let-down forcing more sacrifices then SE phones used to do but it looks like Apple is ready to take that gamble.

barely a day of endurance from a 4000mAh lithium battery with 110min painfully-slow 24W (7.5W wireless) charging, 60Hz OLED screen with 800nits brightness 460ppi and HDR support (but no HDR10+ or Dolby Vision), single back 48MP 26mm OIS PDAF lense, average video recording, no expandable memory, no desktop replacement functionality, slow USB-C 2.0 port
