EDITORIAL: Pixel 10 Pro brings a new Tensor chip produced by TSMC's 3nm manufacturing process. The screen is slightly brighter and battery (still old, Lithium tech) is just 170nAh larger. Android 16 brings in the 1st gen of build-in desktop replacement functionality to Pixel Pro phones. All cameras are the same as on 9 Pro but have some new AI tricks and the tele lens can focus closer. Qi2 wireless charging adds a cool touch.
PROs
one-hand flagship grade hardware, 2200nits super-bright 495ppi sharp LTPO OLED screen with HDR10+, IP68 protection, reliable 50MP OIS main + 48MP OIS periscope telephoto + 48MP ultrawide (all PDAF) camera performance, excellent 42MP PDAF selfie, good (but not class-leading) video recording, 7 years of OS update promise, new desktop replacement functionality, fast USB-C 3.2 port, Satellite SOS Service
CONs
midrange chip Tensor G5 with UFS 4.0 (3.1 on the 128GB version) performance, only 24hr endurance with 88min slow 30W wired charging (15W wireless) of old-tech Li 4870mAh battery, sub-500Hz PWM screen dimming rate will cause headaches for some users, same camera hardware as on 9 Pro, no SDmemory expansion

EDITORIAL: Featuring Xiaomi's own processor, the 15S Pro marks a beginning of a new era. Unlike Huawei's Kirin chips, the new XRing 01 is a proper 3nm top-of-the-line processor that should compete head on with SD 8 Elite and Mediatec's top Dimensity 9400. Xiaomi wants to impress: all-day battery, excellent screen, powerful cameras, even the Display Port is there.
PROs
expect fast performance with UFS 4.1 memory, >30hr endurance from a 6100mAh Si battery with sub-60min 90W (50W wireless) charging, >1300 >520ppi LTPO AMOLED with Dolby Vision screen, IP68 protection, reliable 50MP 23mm main + 50MP 120mm periscope telephoto (both OIS PDAF)+ 50MP 14mm AF ultrawide setup, average 32MP 22mm (non AF) selfie, okay video recording, 4 years of OS updates and fast USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port with DisplayPort and OTG
CONs
no AF on selfie, no expandable memory or desktop replacement functionality
