EDITORIAL: New vanilla Pixel comes with faster UFS (but only on a 256GB version) and a proper 5x tele lens on the back. The rest is (as we're growing to expect from Google) similar: mediocre Tensor performance, short battery endurance with very slow charging, very bright (tho non-LTPO) screen, decent imaging performance (from the main and ultrawide lenses that are actually downgraded) and exceptional software experience with a industry leading 7 years of OS updates promise.

flagship build, bright 2000nits 422ppi 120Hz OLED screen with HDR10+, IP68 protection, reliable 48MP 25mm main + 10.8MP 112mm telefoto + 13MP ~13mm ultrawide (all 3 PDAF) setup, excellent 10.5MP 20mm PDAF selfie, good video recording, OS loaded with AI and other features and a up to 7 years of updates promise, basic desktop replacement functionality and Satellite SOS Service in some markets
CONs
midrange Tensor G5 processor with UFS 4.0 (3.1 on 128GB version) performance, just a day of endurance from a 4970mAh battery with 90min slow 30W (15W wireless) charging, no memory expansion slot, limited market availability, expensive for it's hardware

EDITORIAL: Samsung brought it's top 200MP main camera (from S25 Ultra) to their best foldable. It also added AF to the ultrawide but unfortunately kept the telephoto at just 10MP. The phone is now significantly thinner compared to Z Fold 6 (from 5.6mm to 4.2mm when unfolded) but noticably wider compared to past models (72.8mm vs 68.1mm on Z Fold 6 and 67.1mm on Z Fold 5). Battery tech, endurance and charging remain the same, a disappointing performance from the world's biggest phone maker.

CONs
not as one-hand-friendly as it used to be, embarrassing lack of battery tech and performance improvement, 90min 25W slow charging, disappointing telephoto camera performance, no AF on either selfie, no SDmemory slot, Samsung's persistent effort to lock its customers into the phone & accessories echo-system
