* TOP Selfie* TOP SoftwareMidrange

EDITORIAL: (this is a pre-test listing based on reasonable expectation of processor and software performance) In what is now Google tradition, new Pixel is a small improvment over the previous model: new processor, improved WiFi and faster (15W->25W) wireless charging is all that is really different things time.

PROs
flagship built, very bright ~2000nits 420ppi 120Hz OLED screen with HDR10+, IP68 protection, good imaging from a 48MP 25mm OIS main + 10.8MP 112mm OIS tele + 13MP ultrawide (all 3 PDAF) setup, excellent 10.5MP 20mm PDAF selfie, decent video recording, 7 years of OS updates promise with AI and other features loaded Android version, some desktop replacement functionality, fast USB-C 3.2 port
CONs
mediocre Tensor G6 (3nm) processor with UFS 4.0 performance, only 24hr endurance from a 4900mAh old-tech lithium battery with 90min slow 30W (25W wireless) charging, no memory expansion, limited market availability, expensive for a midrange phone

EDITORIAL: Another great effort from Vivo. Downgraded UFS speed, camera and a non-LTPO screen but otherwise very close to Vivo X200 Pro in performance, battery endurance, fast charging and screen quality. Highly recommended it you can get the 512GB version, not available everywhere.

PROs
very fast performance by UFS4.0 and Dimensity 9400, 36hr endurance from a 5800mAh Si/C anode battery with sub-40min 90W charging, >1500nits 460ppi 120Hz OLED screen with HDR10+ and >2000Hz PWM dimming frequency, IP69 protection, excellent 50MP 23mm main + very good 50MP 70mm telephoto (both OIS PDAF) + very good 50MP 15mm ultrawide setup,
CONs
non-LTPO screen locked at 60Hz, 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rate, average 32MP non-AF selfie, average video recording, no expandable memory, low number of (years of) OS updates, no desktop replacement feature
