EDITORIAL: Honor improved it's midrange offering with a (last year top) flagship chip, a great screen, a 200MP main camera and a 6 year long support for OS updates. Both main and telephoto cameras produce great shots in all conditions. A 2nd (FOV) lense on the front makes up for lack of AF on a 50MP selfie and also delivers iPhone-like face unlock. What a shame that there is no video out from the very slow USB-C port.

EDITORIAL: Excellent build, good performance, 2-day battery life, solid cameras and Appleâs well coordinated ecosystem are keeping this phone very competitive despite the lack of innovation, screen with old technology no other phone maker uses and Appleâs strong effort to make it difficult for anyone to leave their phones

great build, 2-day battery, >1600nits bright screen with Dolby Vision, reliable photos, first-iPhone-with-USB-C-port title, 6 years of iOS updates and the familiar iOS design
CONs
lack of innovation and pursuit of excellence that Apple used to be known for, expensive accessories and repairs, sub standard 60mHz video refresh rate, meh night videos from the ultrawide, no expandable storage, no desktop replacement software and a slow 2.0 USB-C port (updated May 26, 2025)
