EDITORIAL: Released on Jun 12th, 2025 the Pura 80 Pro is a slightly downgraded version of the Pro+. These two share the same size body, processor, battery, charging, screen, element protection, selfie and even software with the mighty Pura 80 Ultra. Difference is just in phone colors and the back camera tech: this Pro features a 1 inch sensor 50MP OIS PDAF main + 48MP PDAF telephoto + 40MP AF ultrawide while it's more expensive siblings have better imaging hardware. Still, expect some outstanding photos from it.

EDITORIAL: Huawei is back with another shot at "world's best camera-phone" title. The company has adopted a full self-reliance approach in both hardware (Kirin chip, screen protective glass, camera design) and software (moving it's OS away from Google dependence) and seems to be back to finding excellence. With Pura 80 Ultra, Huawei brings the first in the smartphone photography: two different periscope telephoto lenses that share one sensor. The rest of imaging setup is stellar and will get you photos as good as any top 2025 phone. The processor, battery and software remain Pura's weaknesses.
