EDITORIAL: With several downgrades from Razr 60 Ultra, this phone feels like a downgrade but still holds the "TOP Foldable" position. Great performance, long battery life, great screens and excellent imaging make this a flip phone to beat. Consider the last year's version for the same processor, brighter screens (and shorter battery life), better sound, same cameras and lower price.

upgraded hinge is now titanium, fast SD 8 Elite with UFS 4.0 performance, >30hr endurance from a 5000mAh battery with sub-50min 68W (30W wireless) charging, >1400nits (outer screen >1000nits) >410ppi 165Hz LTPO AMOLED screens with Dolby Vision and HDR10+, IP48 protection, excellent photos and selfies from a 50MP 22mm OIS main + 50MP 12mm ultrawide setup, good video recording, tons of software and AI features, desktop replacement functionality

CONs

throttling under heavy load, outer screen brightness is below 1100nits, no telephoto lens, no expandable storage, only 3 years of OS updates, slow USB-C 2.0 port, hard to find and pricey at lounch

EDITORIAL: Also lunched as RAZR 2026, this is a incremental upgrade with some nice improvements. The build features better (titanium) hinge, adds military standard impact protection, (slightly) bigger battery with much better endurance and brighter screens, more polished UI with multiple AI bots... but RAZR 70+ and 70 Ultra are where it's at.

PROs

good build, good Dimensity 7450X with UFS 3.1 performance, 30hr endurance from a 4800mAh Si-C battery with sub-60min 30W (15W wireless) charging, two very good >1300nits bright >410ppi LTPO AMOLED screens (inner 120Hz, outer is 90Hz) with HDR10+, IP48 with military standard impact protection, reliable 50MP 25mm OIS PDAF main + 50MP 12mm PDAF ultrawide, average 32MP 22mm selfie but you'll use back cameras for excellent selfies, abundance of AI and other features in excellent stock-Android-like HelloUI, DeX-like Smart Connect desktop replacement functionality (only wireless screen connection)

only 8GB in all versions, wired charging is just 30W, main screen chunky bezels, no expandable memory, just 3 years of OS updates, slow USB-C 2.0 port with no Video Out (tho you can connect the phone to external screens wirelessly), limited market availability
