EDITORIAL: A huge upgrade over the 1st edition CMF Phone brings improvements on screen, water immersion and an extra year of OS updates (from 2 to 3). This fun modular phone still has a ton of accessories (some very useful) and lots of flare. The body grew to 78mm wide (why so big?) but Nothing says it's IP54 actually means the phone will survive submersion in down to 25cm of water for up to 20 minutes. Triple lense camera setup offer add-on lenses for more variety. Essential Key hardware button adds functionality of easily saving voice notes, screenshots and other data to a personal folder. A fun and very original budget option.

fresh design with a very clean and functional OS to match, nice AI integration, reliable new Mediatec 7300 Pro with UFS 3.1 performance, good >30hr battery endurance, almost 1300nits bright >380ppi HDR10+ AMOLED screen, IP54 (maker claims water submersion ability) protection, some very good shots can come from the main and tele lenses, SDmemory slot and USB-C 2.0 port with OTG

thin & light but really wide, 85min slow 33W charging, uninspired 50MP 24mm PDAF main + 50MP 50mm PDAF tele + 8MP 15mm ultrawide setup, unreliable 16MP (no AF) selfie, unreliable video recording, only 3 years of OS updates and lack of desktop replacement functionality
