Midrange
EDITORIAL: (this is a pre-test score based on reasonable expectations of battery, screen and main camera performance) Every 6 months Oppo delivers an improved version of it's Reno and Reno Pro midranges. The Reno 14 is a small upgrade of an excellent and very affordable 13. It keeps the same build and size, processor, IP and selfie but replaces dookey 2MP depth sensor with a proper telephoto camera and makes the battery slightly bigger.

aluminum frame glass back body, good performance from Mediatec 8350 with UFS3.1, exceptional 2-day endurance from a 6000mAh battery with 80W charging (no wireless), great 460ppi HDR10+ AMOLED, IP69 protection (down to 2m for 30min), reliable images from a 50MP main + 50MP tele (both OIS PDAF) + 8MP AF ultrawide, great 50MP AF selfie
CONs
a very incremental upgrade, sub-1300nits screen brightness, ultrawide is just okay and so are videos, the SDmemory had been removed since Reno 13, poor OS update policy, no desktop replacement, no video out from a slow USB-C2.0 port

EDITORIAL: Top of Oppo's midrange Reno line, 13 Pro comes with a slightly better chip, a bigger battery and full water proofing but loses the SD memory expansion shoot that made Reno midrangers stand out as true value in the phone market.

aluminum and glass build, good Dimensity 8350 with UFS 3.1 performance, >30hr endurance from a 5800mAh battery with sub-50min 80W (China gets 50W wireless too) charging, 1100nits 450ppi AMOLED screen with HDR10+, IP69 (down to 2m for 30min) water protection, good pics from a 50MP 24mm main + 50MP 85mm telephoto (both OIS PDAF) + 8MP 15mm ultrawide setup, very good 50MP 21mm selfie with AF
CONs
almost 2mm wider and 15g heavier then Reno 12 Pro, no AF on ultrawide, mediocre video recording, the SD memory is gone, less then 4 years of OS updates, no desktop replacement functionality and a slow USB-C 2.0 port (with OTG)
