EDITORIAL: Like Oppo's, Xiaomi midrangers are growing in size. The 15 Pro+ is 3.9mm wider then it's predecessor. With this significant size increase comes a much bigger battery, bigger (and better screen) and better water and drop protection. But can you put a 78mm wide phone in your pocket?

big & hard to handle one-hand, relatively weak SD 7s Gen 4 with UFS 2.2 performance, non-LTPO screen and inefficient refresh rate rob 15 Pro+ of truly amazing battery endurance, below average 32MP selfie, unreliable video recording, no expandable memory, comes with Android 15 after Android 16 lounch so the total number of Android upgrades is 3 instead of 4 (as one is wasted on catching up to Android 16), no desktop replacement and slow USB-C port (tho with OTG)

EDITORIAL: Dutch Fairphone brand's 6th gen phone is their best argument for sustainability and fair product manufacturing. It comes with a 4nm 2024 Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip, removable battery, modern LTPO screen and a decent front and back camera setup - everything but the processor is completely upgradable and mostly future proof! Fairphone market availability is like Google Pixel's: seemingly random and very limited. But the phone is very unique and punches above it's weight (and score)

thick at 9.6mm, midrange processor with questionable ability to carry 8 years of OS updates, only sub-900nits of screen brightness, no desktop replacement functionality, slow USB-C 2.0 port and reported Bluetooth related software bugs, limited market availability
