EDITORIAL: Perfecting on the Mix Fold 3, Xiaomi added the fastest SD chip, bigger battery, brighter and sharper screens (now they are both LTPO) and water immersion with IPX8. Excellent Leica tuned back cameras are better (the telephoto went up to 50MP) and the phone is now sub-10mm thin bringing a fold phone into a similar size to a regular (non-folding) one. Contrary to common sense, Xiaomi is keeping this phone China-only risking poor sales and this great phone's future.
PROs
amazingly thin, fast Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with UFS 4.0 performance, >36hr long endurance from a 5100mAh with sub-60min 67W (50W wireless) charging, two >1300nits >415ppi sharp LTPO AMOLED screens both with Dolby Vision, IPX8 protection, excellent 50MP 23mm main + 50MP 47mm telephoto + 10MP 115mm periscope telephoto (all 3 with OIS PDAF) + 12MP 15mm ultrawide, two 16MP non-AF selfies (but you will take selfies with the main camera), fast USB-C 3.2 port with OTG
CONs
inner screen crease and surface are uneven, no dust protection of any level, no AF on ultrawide or selfies, average video recording, no expandable memory, short OS update policy, no desktop replacement feature, China only

EDITORIAL: With Pixel 10 Pro Fold Google created world's first IP68 foldable - an amazing engineering feat worth of praise. The rest of the phone is okay, reliable and well made but still delivering performance and endurance anxiety. The 1:1 inner screen aspect ratio remains the odd choice making Pixel Fold a real option only in markets with limited foldable phone choices.
PROs
excellent build with full dust and water protection, very bright >2000nits 425ppi 120Hz OLED (inner screen is >2000nits 370ppi 120Hz LTPO OLED with HDR10+), the first foldable with IP68 protection, very average pics 48MP 25mm OIS main + 10.8MP 112mm OIS tele + 10.5MP ~12mm ultrawide (all with PDAF) setup, 2 average 10MP 23mm PDAF selfies (better use the main setup), average video recording, 7 year long OS support promise of stabile and feature loaded software, fast USB-C 3.2 port, Satellite SOS Service
CONs
260g heavy (!) and 10.8mm thick, mediocre Tensor G5 (3nm) with UFS 4.0 performance, 24hr endurance from a 5000mAh lithium battery with very slow (~90min) 30W (15W wireless) charging, low PWM screen dimming frequency, no expandable storage, no desktop replacement functionality, expensive for what it is, limited market availability
Both phones here were scored by me, using the same ten categories, with no ads, sponsorships, or manufacturer relationships — this comparison is as objective and honest as it gets.
