Google's top phone for 2024 is an unusual combo of the best software and compromised hardware. 9 Pro XL is a pleasure to use it you don't know you could do better. Processor and memory speed, battery endurance, even cameras are compromised for some reason. Like other Pixel phones (and unlike Apple and Samsung) availability is limited to only some markets - another surprise from world's biggest phone software maker...

one of the biggest phones at 76.6mm and 220g, current midrange processor performance makes one wonder how will it perform after 4 or 5 years of AI and other updates, barely a day (24hr) endurance from a 5060mAh Lithium battery (tiny for a phone this size) with a 80min slow 45W (12W wireless) charging, no SD memory expansion Video Out or desktop replacement functionality, limited market availability
